"Escape!" is the sixteenth episode of Storm Hawks.
Description[]
Aerrow and Radarr make a break from the escape-proof prison on Terra Zartacla. With jail warden Mr. Moss on their tail, our two heroes set out to prove anything’s possible when you’re a Storm Hawk! Using every trick in the book, the two try to outsmart their jailers and survive the dangerous jungle. But will it be enough to get them to freedom?[1]
Plot[]
Terra Zartacla, sunrise. A siren blasts over a Cyclonian prison, with Aerrow and Radarr in prison uniform, digging out of the prison, and making their escape. Meanwhile Mr. Moss finds a hole through their cell and initiates a search with Hamish and a few Talons for their missing prisoners, with the help of Occucrows and vicious Blood Hyde Trackbeasts. Knowing that the Cyclonians are hot in their tail, Aerrow sets up a decoy, using Radarr's foul-smelling shirt as a bait. Radarr then smears himself with mud to cover up his scent, avoiding the trackbeasts from tracking them down. Eventually when they find themselves surrounded by the Cyclonians, Aerrow decides to split up with Radarr to try distract them.
With Radarr going on his separate path, Aerrow makes a dash for the nearby river, with the Talons giving chase. He ends up on the edge of the waterfall, and dives down. By the time the Talons reach the bottom of the waterfall, they could only find a torn piece of clothing, and continues their search. Aerrow then sets up a few booby traps, ranging from a leaf trap, to a catapult, eliminating each of Mr. Moss' companions and taunting him at the same time. With everyone else gone, Mr. Moss becomes enraged and returns to the prison to pick up his heli-blade.
Meanwhile, Radarr gets spotted by a Occucrow, but manages to repel it by swinging a tree branch against the black bird. The resulting impact drops a rusty old skimmer that was stuck onto the very same tree. Using only a spanner, Radarr manages to restore the skimmer.
Mr. Moss takes his vehicle and hacks part of a forest down with his whip, revealing Aerrow in the middle of the clearing. Aerrow finds himself once again surrounded by the Talons, but was rescued in time by Radarr with a nearly restored skimmer. Mr. Moss gives chase and fires up his whip and heli-blade as far as he could. As for Aerrow and Radarr, their skimmer began to disintegrate piece by piece, but able to deploy its wings. Eventually they were reduced to nothing but a single jet engine, yet somehow they could still hover with it. Aerrow now thanks the warden for the long chase, before the Condor shows up to retrieve their Sky Knight. Aerrow finally gives their surviving jet engine a sharp U-turn, firing right onto Mr. Moss' wings and subjecting the heli-blade into crash landing course.
It was discovered that the entire ordeal was a distraction to allow the Storm Hawks to break the other prisoners out. Mr. Moss now finds a completely empty prison and screams in frustration.
